Blue Christmas

The Reverend Elvis & Friends Blue Christmas grew out of a seed of an idea planted in December of 1994 by a young minister in the small town of Vauxhall, Alberta.

Rev. Bruce R. E. Sheasby, AKA “The Reverend Elvis”, hosted a service to remember loved ones missed over the holidays, donning his leather jacket and crooning, “We’ll have a Blue Christmas without you.”

Over the years that seed grew and flourished into an inspirational concert, reinforcing the theme “The Light Shines in the Darkness”.

Partnering with businesses and individuals, The Reverend Elvis & Friends Blue Christmas has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars supporting worthwhile causes.
